Job summary

Beeby Anderson Recruitment is seeking a Junior Electrical Design Engineer to join a leading independent MEP design consultancy in London.

You will contribute to electrical services design, LV cables, lighting, fire alarms, and security systems, using DIALux, Amtech, AutoCAD 2D, and ideally Revit. The role requires fluent English and the ability to manage several projects concurrently, based in Marylebone, London.

Qualifications

• DIALux and Amtech software knowledge.
• HNC/HND level in building services or electrical engineering or degree equivalent.
• High standard of written and verbal English.
• Able to handle several ongoing projects at various stages.

Responsibilities

• Electrical services design including LV design, cable sizing, lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarms, and security systems.
• Preparation and development of concept, feasibility, and detailed design proposals, including specifications, drawings, and calculations.
• Ability to use DIALux lighting and Amtech electrical software.
• Fully proficient in AutoCAD 2D with knowledge of Revit or desire to learn.
• MS Office skills, particularly Word and Excel.
• Good communication skills when meeting clients and design team members.
• Strong technical expertise in electrical building services design within UK industry.
