Job summary

Tyk Technologies in the UK is seeking a Junior Developer Advocate to build our presence in developer communities across Europe. You will write, record, speak, and travel, creating content as you go and engaging with real practitioners.

This is a learning-focused role for early-career engineers who want to grow a personal profile while shaping how developers use our API management, AI governance, and modern infrastructure products.

Qualifications

• Enough technical grounding to read code and understand architecture.
• Some experience creating content - writing, video, or talks.
• Comfortable speaking to small groups and at meetups.
• A creator's instinct and curiosity about APIs, AI, governance, and infra.
• Willingness to travel regularly across Europe.
• Self-directed and energized by a small team.
• AI-native: using AI regularly and discerning quality.
• CS degree welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

• Produce regular written and video content on API management, AI, and governance with real customer stories.
• Publish hands-on tutorials and ecosystem guides to help developers find solutions.
• Learn in public, share progress, and build a recognisable personal profile in the space.
