Our Creative team is looking for a Lead Graphic Designer with a passion for film who can work across disciplines including print, digital and video to join us at our London HQ. You will be working closely with our in-house designers and video editors, as well as cross-functional teams to produce world-class creative.
The nature of this role is hybrid, and will require office presence for at least two days per week in the London HQ.
Work closely with Senior designers to develop and execute creative solutions to promote our curated film programming, including brand campaigns, social media assets, film key art, motion graphics for trailers, and more;
Collaborating with cross-functional teams at MUBI, while also demonstrating the ability to work independently;
Maintaining brand consistency across all creative outputs and ensuring designs are aligned with project briefs and deadlines;
Contributing creative input during brainstorming and concept development sessions;
Proactively exploring new ideas for MUBI’s visual brand identity
A formal design education with 1–2 years of professional experience
A contemporary design aesthetic, with strong conceptual and executional abilities across digital, mobile, print, and video
Confidence in expressing your ideas, while being highly collaborative and receptive to feedback
The ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment, comfortably handling multiple projects and effectively defining priorities with support from the team
Professional proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
(Desire) Intermediate level skills in After Effects
A good understanding of graphics production techniques, including image manipulation, editing, and compositing across various media
A genuine passion for film and design, with a commitment to staying up to date with current design trends, tools, and technologies
