Job description

We're working with a successful womenswear supplier to leading UK high street retailers, who are expanding their design team. They are looking for a Junior Designer to work across ladies' soft wovens and jersey within a multi-product environment. This is a permanent, full-time position based in their London office, five days a week. You'll report to a Senior Designer and support on all aspects of the design process from initial concept through to production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Researching and developing fashion-forward soft wovens and jersey ranges.
• Creating commercial, trend-led designs for UK high street retailers.
• Producing clear and accurate CAD drawings and tech packs.
• Liaising with overseas factories and managing sample development.
• Sourcing new fabrications, trims and techniques.
• Attending customer meetings and supporting with presentations.
• Managing product development admin and ensuring deadlines are met.

Person Specification:

• Previous experience working with a womenswear fashion supplier would be an advantage
• A young, trend-aware handwriting with strong commercial appeal.
• Confident, ambitious, and self-motivated - someone who doesn't need hand-holding.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• A positive, can-do mindset and a team player.
• Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, CAD, and comfortable managing admin and systems.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
