Job description

Job Title: Junior Designer (Womenswear Multi Product)

Start Date: ASAP

Location: London office

Salary: £30,000 to £32,000 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience)

Experience/Skills Required:

• Minimum 2 years of industry experience
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Flexible approach to adapt to changing business needs
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated, able to manage own workload, and a team player
• Confident communicator and highly organised

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Contribute to design work for the brand
• Design and develop the White collection and SMU collections as a primary responsibility
• Report to the Creative Director on a day-to-day basis
• Participate in research and creative brainstorms with the Design team, identifying seasonal trends and brand newness
• Assist in building creative presentation decks for seasonal collections (including mood boards, image research, colour palettes, range overviews, and CAD decks)
• Prepare and finalise CAD for approval from the brand owner
• Support Graphic Design needs for seasonal collections and SMU when required
• Prepare and finalise tech packs
• Relay brand tone of voice to freelance designers and external design companies when required
• Collect market intelligence and provide accurate and up-to-date information on design trends and developments
• Manage daily tasks such as samples/parcels shipments, samples organisation, samples measurements, strike offs reviews, samples comments, and fitting
• Assist in fit sessions and factory follow-up, updating tech packs accordingly
• Assist in marketing shoots to relay the brand's tone of voice through styling
• Support project delivery in line with the development calendar, managing workload and deadlines accordingly
