Job description

We have partnered with a leading fashion brand who are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Designer to support across womenswear and menswear knitwear to join its dynamic design team.

Based in London, this is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate designer with a strong interest in knitwear to support the development of innovative, high-quality collections in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Main Responsibilities will include:

• Support the design and development of seasonal knitwear collections under the guidance of senior team members
• Create and update technical CAD drawings using Adobe Illustrator and other design tools
• Assist in yarn selection and sample development with manufacturers and mills
• Conduct trend, market, and archival research to inform design concepts and seasonal direction
• Help prepare design packs, tech sheets, and presentation materials for internal reviews
• Communicate with suppliers and product development teams to ensure timely sample delivery and accuracy
• Contribute to fittings and design meetings with feedback on fit and construction

Person Specification:

• Degree in Fashion Design, Knitwear Design, or a related discipline
• Previous relevant industry experience, including internships, ideally with a focus on womenswear or menswear knitwear
• Solid understanding of knitwear construction, yarns and techniques
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator)Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to take initiative, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines
