Opportunity

The role is a step into the world of corporate/financial design. This primarily revolves around clarity of data (figures, stats, tables of numbers, charts). This type of design lends itself to designers with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. You will learn more about the business of private markets and what that entails from an end-user perspective. We deliver information to a niche set of users; HNWI, fund managers, & GPs, all with their own specific user needs in terms of data. We design to provide an experience that is unnoticeable - it just works, is easily understood and is clear.

Motion design is key to this role. It is a skillset we need at S64 to take our communications to the next level. You will be bringing the established design capabilities to life through slick animations, be they logo animations/reveals, text transitions, data visualisation, charting animations, video effects and editing.

You will have the chance to define the motion ‘style guide/strategy’ for S64 and be able to explore, adapt and improve to create a system that is consistent in its approach across all media types. We are looking for that flair that would make corporate financial design stand out from our competitors.

Responsibilities

The Junior Designer will be responsible for providing visual design support to the visual design and UX team.

• Work on a variety of visual design projects, including presentations, marketing documents, reporting and documentation, video-based marketing material and UI/platform design.
• Raise the motion and interaction areas of S64. Engaging social outputs (LinkedIn posts), video-based marketing assets, animated brand intros, logo animations, interactive data visualisation, interactive and engaging presentations any and all areas of design where motion raises the level of engagement and presence.
• Provide quick turnaround support for documentation required for pitches and client demos.
• Support the platform and business teams with all S64 branded visual material, providing consistency and alignment across all business areas.
• Working on pitch documents (PowerPoints, presentation documents) for new business meetings
• Helping to define, design, create and deliver templates for all internal and external documentation
• Creating animations (logos, text transitions etc.) for social media posts and marketing material to help bring station documents and media to life and ultimately define the motion ‘strategy’ for S64
• Helping to maintain the current company website using Framer and Figma

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience as a Junior Designer
• HND / BSc/BA in Design or a related field
• Experience with design software (e.g. Affinity Designer, Figma, Pages, Keynote, PowerPoint,) and creating motion/video assets (e.g. Lottie animations, prototypes, movies etc. )
• Understanding of visual elements (layout, type and fonts) and creating visually engaging animations (charting, data vis, logos)
• A keen eye for detail
• Time management and multitasking abilities
