Job summary

You will work closely with the Drawing Office/Design Manager to produce and amend technical drawings, supporting the design process from customer requirements through to manufacture, while engaging with customers on drawing needs.

Qualifications

• Experience using CAD software, preferably Autodesk AutoCAD.
• Engineering qualification such as HNC/HND is advantageous.
• Good IT skills with Word/Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and methodical approach.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Interest in engineering and development in a junior role.

Responsibilities

• Produce and amend technical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Support design team across multiple customer projects.
• Liaise with customers on drawing requirements.
• Resolve drawing-related issues with design/production teams.
• Ensure drawings are accurate and issued on time.
• Assist with design solutions and develop technical knowledge.
• Manage drawing information with Autodesk Vault.
• Support broader engineering activities.
