Job summary

Marine Resources Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Junior Design & Installation Engineer in Alton to design and install electrical and mechanical systems for commercial and leisure marine projects. You will lead installation activities from concept to completion and coordinate with customers and internal teams.

The role requires hands-on engineering work, testing, commissioning, and travel across the UK and abroad; a driving licence is essential, and a relevant engineering qualification is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical and/or mechanical engineering.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and desire to develop customer-facing skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel.
• HNC, HND, Degree, or equivalent engineering qualification.

Responsibilities

Location: Alton. Salary: £30,000 - £45,000. Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

My client is looking for a Junior Design & Installation Engineer to join their growing team. This is a varied role combining design, installation, commissioning, and project delivery across the commercial and leisure marine sectors.

The Role

• Design and develop electrical and mechanical systems.
