Job summary

Marine Resources in Alton is seeking a Design & Installation Engineer to join the team. This role combines design, installation, commissioning and project delivery across marine sectors, with travel to sites in the UK and beyond.

You will design and develop electrical and mechanical systems, lead installation projects from concept to completion, and produce drawings and documentation. The role offers a clear path for hands-on engineers who like varied challenges and some travel, with benefits

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical and/or mechanical engineering.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to create and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Confident using AutoCAD or similar design software.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel.
• HNC, HND, Degree, or equivalent engineering qualification.
• Solar system design and installation experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

Responsibilities
