Job summary

Kreston Reeves is seeking a Junior Data Quality & Reporting Analyst in Canterbury on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role focuses on data quality, reporting and building insightful dashboards, with strong Excel skills and collaboration across the data team and business units.

You will audit data, extract insights from multiple sources, and support GDPR compliance while promoting best practices in data management.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills incl. PivotTables, Power Query.
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to interpret data and present findings clearly.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support data quality and housekeeping initiatives to improve accuracy and completeness of information.
• Monitor, audit and report on data quality across key business systems.
• Extract, analyse and interpret data from multiple sources to provide insights.
• Create, maintain and enhance regular and ad hoc reports and dashboards.
• Work with stakeholders across the firm to understand reporting requirements.
• Cleanse, manipulate and validate data to ensure accuracy.
• Support data audits and GDPR compliance through data management practices.
• Document processes, procedures and data audit activities.
• Provide cover for other data team members during busy periods.
