An established local authority is offering an exciting opportunity for autistic individuals to gain valuable work experience in the data and analytics sector. This week-long program focuses on hands-on learning through mini projects and workshops, enhancing skills in data manipulation and problem-solving. Participants will receive guidance from experienced colleagues and have the chance to practice interview techniques, ensuring they feel confident in their abilities. With a hybrid working model, this program is designed to empower individuals and provide them with the tools they need for future success.
Are you an autistic individual seeking work experience in the data, analytics and performance sector? Building on the success of our well-established Autism Internship Programme, Essex County Council is excited to offer up to 10 places in our new week-long work experience programme within the People Analytics, Performance & Insight team.
The programme has been designed with you in mind, you will gain hands on experience by completing a mini project, whilst developing your skills and knowledge. You will work with our experienced colleagues who will support and guide you through the week.
You will also attend workshops with our award-winning Entry to Work team, who will work with you to build your CV, demonstrate interview techniques and give you ways to be confident in yourself with interviews!
You will be invited to attend mock interviews by the team at the end week - allowing you practise your new skills and to show the team what you have learnt.
The week will be hybrid, meaning you will spend some time working onsite at our Chelmsford Office and some time working from home.
