Qualifications

• Recent graduate in a financial discipline or have 2+ years of experience in data analysis.
• Strong Excel skills and a clear understanding of database structures.
• Demonstrated ability to read, understand, and interrogate hotel profit and loss results.
• Working knowledge of accounting principles or relevant hospitality operational experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal collaboration and client-facing interactions.

Responsibilities

• Manage the quality of the benchmarking database by proactively maintaining assigned contributing company data and conducting monthly integrity checks.
• Operate translation tools to process P&L data and integrate it into the core database, auditing data quality to ensure alignment with standards.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with data contacts at contributing hotel companies to resolve data-related queries with credibility.
• Contribute to the monthly reporting suite, including market data and bespoke reports for external clients, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Analyze large datasets through data mining to support assignments and research, updating hotel statuses and operational notes for real-time accuracy.
• Collaborate across data processing and client-relations teams in a fast-paced environment to support the organization's market intelligence mission.
