Job summary

Hewett-Recruitment is seeking a Junior Finance Analyst to join our Worcester-based team. You will play a key role in onboarding clients onto our finance platform, translating complex financial data into clear insights and supporting decision-making.

Ideal candidates have a background in accounting, finance or data analysis, with strong Excel skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. This is an office-based, full-time role in Worcester.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Excellent Excel skills and confidence working with data.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Great communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end onboarding and implementation of client financial data submissions.
• Analyse hotel Profit & Loss statements and accounting structures.
• Map nominal codes to internal benchmarking fields while ensuring data integrity.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies across historical financial reporting periods.
• Build strong relationships with client finance and data contacts.
• Maintain consistency across client data mappings and reporting standards.
• Collaborate with systems and analyst teams to support successful technical handovers.
• Use Excel and database knowledge to support reporting and business intelligence initiatives.
