Job summary

Plata Card in the United Kingdom is seeking a Junior / Junior+ Data Analyst to join the Core Banking Systems team. You will start by reconciling data between product engines and accounting systems and gain exposure to real banking data and money from day one.

You will build dashboards using DWH data, investigate discrepancies, and help standardise reconciliation processes while growing your fintech knowledge across Mexico and Colombia.

Qualifications

• Mathematical or technical degree from a top university.
• Strong knowledge of mathematical statistics and probability.
• Strong SQL skills and attention to detail.
• English sufficient for reading technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile data between product engine and accounting systems and investigate root causes.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports using DWH data.
• Improve and standardise reconciliation processes for reliability and scale.
• Investigate non-standard product and financial cases with System Analysts and teams.
• Work with production data to understand banking transactions flow.
• Turn complex financial and technical problems into clear, structured solutions.
