Junior Data Analyst

Reports to: AI & SaaS Implementation Manager

Function:

As a Data Analyst in our organization, you'll play a crucial, hands-on role in shaping innovative technology to support the industry in adapting to changing content consumption methods. The successful candidate will contribute to two main projects: an AI solution for identifying and tagging content issues, and a tool for determining and assigning international age ratings. Responsibilities:

1. Data Preparation and Cleaning:
2. Work closely with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements.
3. Perform data cleaning, transformation, and enrichment to prepare datasets for analysis.

Data analysis:

• Analyze classification data to identify trends in content ratings across platforms.
• Conduct statistical analysis on accuracy across datasets.

Database maintenance:

• Maintain our classification database and ensure data quality.

Generative AI Prompt engineering:

• Optimize prompts for GenAI usage.
• Improve prompt chains for efficiency, token usage, and cost management.
• Collaborate with the product team to translate user needs into effective prompting strategies.

Quality Assurance & Reliability Engineering for AI Systems:

• Develop and maintain testing frameworks for prompt performance, reliability, and safety.
• Create reusable prompt libraries and documentation.
• Build monitoring systems to track prompt performance and model behavior.
• Develop safety measures for responsible AI usage.

Data Pipelines:

• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines for AI projects.
• Implement robust prompting pipelines for consistent outputs across language models.

Collaboration:

• Work with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

Act as a key contributor to our AI for good initiatives, aiming to make a societal impact.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Advanced skills in Google Sheets / Excel and good database understanding.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Enthusiasm for learning AI concepts and prompt engineering.

Desired Experience:

• Knowledge of Python or similar languages for data analysis.
• Basic SQL skills for querying large databases.
• Understanding of AI systems, especially Generative AI.
• Experience with MLOps and AI deployment.
• Experience with AI-powered product development.
• Familiarity with multimodal AI models (text, image, audio).
