Job summary

British Airways in the United Kingdom is seeking a Junior Cyber Product Owner to support the delivery and management of cybersecurity products and services across the organisation. You will work with product owners, security engineers, and stakeholders to define product requirements and ensure that security solutions meet business needs and compliance standards.

This role coordinates day-to-day activities, helps manage backlogs, and translates technical requirements into actionable plans,

Qualifications

Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) focusing on security controls.
Ability to translate business needs into technical product requirements and deliver measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

Support defining and delivering cybersecurity products and services in line with BA strategy and objectives.
Maintain backlogs and ensure security features are clearly defined, prioritised, and tracked.
Contribute to roadmaps and release plans for timely delivery of security capabilities.
Collaborate with cyber engineering, architecture and compliance to translate requirements into actions.
Engage with stakeholders and suppliers to communicate product strategy and benefits to BA's security posture.
