Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment are seeking a Junior Controls Engineer in Harlow to join a growing manufacturing client. You will develop control systems, gain hands-on experience with PLC programming, SCADA and Python, while training and progressing within the role.

You should have an engineering degree or similar and be able to commute to Harlow. The role is Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm with a bracketed salary of 40,000–45,000 and ample progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate or junior engineer with background in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, Controls or Software Engineering.
• Experience with PLC programming and SCADA is beneficial.
• Must be commutable to Harlow.

Responsibilities

• Develop and program PLCs and SCADA systems.
• Assist with electrical installation, commissioning and fault finding.
• Work Monday–Friday, 7:00–15:30 at the production facility.

Harlow (Commutable from: Hoddesdon, Hertford, Epping, Enfield, Bishop's Stortford, Cheshunt, Waltham Abbey, Sawbridgeworth)

Are you a Graduate or Junior Engineer with a background in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, Controls or Software Engineering looking to develop your career within Controls and Automation?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist manufacturer where you will receive hands-on training and gain experience across PLC programming, SCADA, Python and industrial automation.

The company are a nationally recognized manufacturer within the Electrical market and are continuing to grow at a rapid rate. This role is due to growth.

In this Monday - Friday days based role you will be based from the companies main Production facility. You will assist with the development of new control systems from Programming, fault finding and commissioning.

This role would suit an Aspiring Controls Engineer looking for long-term job security, clear development and a range of benefit benefits.

The Role:

• PLC programming and SCADA systems

• Monday to Friday, 7am - 3:30pm

The salary advertised is the bracket available for this position. The actual salary paid will be dependent on your level of experience, qualifications and skill set and will be decided by our client, the employer.
