The Opportunity
We are seeking engineers for our Instrumentation & Control, Software, and Control Systems Engineering roles within our Nuclear Services technical centre of excellence at EDF. Your engineering work will directly support EDF’s nuclear new build projects at Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C, as well as our existing nuclear fleet operations. What You’ll Be Doing
Your responsibilities will vary based on your expertise and the specific role. You may be involved in safety and plant control systems development, including design, manufacture, validation, testing, commissioning, and operations. You will perform change impact analysis, support software qualification, and contribute to testing and software modifications. Additionally, you will develop knowledge of functional safety, participate in technical meetings, advise on safety and control systems, and review technical documentation.
Who You Are
You may hold a degree (or equivalent) in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a related field. Chartership with a professional body is advantageous. Experience in high integrity control systems, standards, SCADA, PLCs, HMIs, software development lifecycle, systems engineering, and commissioning of safety systems is valuable. If you have experience in these areas, we want to hear from you!
