SSE plc is seeking a Junior Contract Manager to join our Procurement and Commercial team in Scotland. The role supports the HVDC programme, negotiating contract terms, managing costs and variations, and liaising with stakeholders across large-scale projects.
The position reports to the Procurement & Commercial Manager and offers a permanent, full-time role with a flexible first approach and a salary of £44,000–£65,900 plus car/allowance and performance bonuses.
For this role, we require successful applicants to be based from one of our Scottish locations and you'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in the office at one of the following locations: Glasgow or Perth.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Contract Manager to join our Procurement and Commercial (P&C) team supporting the Eastern Green Link projects. The position will support our HVDC programme of works for cable, converter stations and civils works.
Reporting to the Procurement & Commercial Manager, you will provide the necessary pre and post contract procurement and commercial support to some the largest projects withinSSEN Transmission. This is an excellent opportunity to grow within the SSE portfolio and contribute to the continued growth of this area of the business.
This role would suit someone from a Quantity Surveying background with either Consultant, Client or Contractor based experience, no specific experience working in Energy sector is required.
