Job summary

Gold Group in London is seeking a Consultant to join its Construction Claims & Dispute Resolution team. The role targets candidates at the start of their career, with an MSc in Construction Law or related field, and aims to build expertise across claims, contracts and dispute resolution on UK projects.

You'll support senior consultants, develop specialist knowledge, and gain exposure to a broad range of construction and engineering projects across the UK, with a clear career development path

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and written communication skills.
• Good eye for detail and ability to interpret contractual information.
• Interest in construction claims, contracts and disputes.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation and assessment of construction claims.
• Supporting the analysis of contractual and project documentation.
• Reviewing contracts, correspondence, programmes, payment records and other project information.
• Assisting with delay, disruption and quantum-related matters.
• Supporting the preparation of reports, submissions and other technical documentation.
• Assisting with dispute resolution and adjudication matters.
• Undertaking research into contractual and legal issues.
• Working with experienced consultants to develop solutions to complex contractual and commercial problems.
• Liaising with clients and project stakeholders as experience develops.
