Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Junior CNC Machinist in Redruth to train on the latest CNC machines and progress under industry experts. You will work on defence, aerospace and renewable energy projects and benefit from 1-on-1 coaching and clear career progression.

You'll interpret drawings, program and operate multiple CNC machines, troubleshoot and keep machines clean to meet production standards. The role offers £14.50-£16.50 per hour with 10 hours overtime and a pension, plus 28 days

Qualifications

• Junior machinist with core engineering background.
• Willingness to train and progress under supervision.
• Commutable to Redruth and open to overtime.

Responsibilities

• Accurately interpret technical drawings.
• Operate multiple CNC machines on a range of products.
• Program different CNC machines.
• Troubleshoot and maintain machine cleanliness.
• Meet production standards and deadlines.
