Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment seeks a CNC Machinist (Programming) in Aberdeen to join a specialist precision engineering and fabrication company. The role covers setting, operating and programming milling machines and lathes, with a balanced split and training opportunities.

You will work with mild steel and aluminium on a variety of components. The 39-hour week runs Monday to Friday, 6am–2pm, with up to 10 hours overtime paid at time and a half; overtime boosts earnings while offering development

Qualifications

• CNC Machinist with experience setting, operating and programming milling machines or lathes.
• Ability to work with milling machines and lathes across a range of components.
• Willingness to undertake training to broaden technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and program milling machines and lathes with an equal split of tasks.
• Manufacture components in mild steel and aluminium.
• Take advantage of training opportunities to widen capabilities.
• Work a 39-hour week, Monday to Friday (6am–2pm).
