Job summary

ITV is seeking a hands-on Cyber Security engineer to design, build, operate and maintain the in-house services the Cyber Security team provides to the business, as well as supporting the deployment of commercial tooling.

The role requires working with cloud-native architectures, infrastructure-as-code, and AWS-based event-driven solutions. The candidate should autonomously identify risks and propose mitigations while aligning with ITV’s collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Understanding of cloud native applications and IaC.
• Basic understanding of security controls (IAM) within cloud environments.
• Knowledge of common security weaknesses and mitigations within modern applications.
• Ability to pragmatically suggest security controls.
• Good personal communications style in line with ITV’s culture.
• Work autonomously and in a team, be inquisitive and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, operate and maintain ITV's in-house security services.
• Support the implementation of commercial tooling for Cyber Security.
• Respond to security events and remediate incidents in a timely manner.
