Please be advised that there is a temporary top up for Bands 2 and 3 to reflect the incorporation of the top up to the living wage of £12.60 per hour - £24,638 per annum.
This temporary top up will be in place until the annual pay uplift for 2025/26 is confirmed.

Job Overview
Clinical fellow post working as part of the Acute Medical team at The Grange University Hospital, (GUH) Cwmbran
Standard working day for Acute Medicine 08.00 – 16.00
Daily consultant ward round of all patients under Acute Medicine.
The Acute Medicine team comprises 16 consultants, 1 ST, 4 ACCS, 1 FD and 2 CF, supported by a team of Nurse Practitioners and 4 physician associates.
The AMU and AMU at GUH comprises 30 beds, 2 of which are predominantly for assessment of new patients.
Participation in the Medical On call rota, covering day (08.30 – 20.30), night (20.30 – 08.30) and twilight shifts (14.00 – 00.00) on a rotational basis, covering seven days a week.
Excellent opportunities for training and education with regular Grand Round, IMT and directorate weekly teaching and monthly Mortality and Morbidity Reviews, as well as opportunity for developing practical skills such as LPs, ascites drains, long line insertion and pleural drains
