Job summary

Clyde & Co is seeking a Client Operations Junior Executive (12 month FTC) in Manchester to provide operational and administrative support across the Global Insurance Programme. You will assist with client reporting, data management, service monitoring and related processes to ensure high-quality service to clients.

  • Experience of client data and its relevance to the insurance litigation process.
  • Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent knowledge of insurance litigation processes.
  • Experience within an insurance claims litigation environment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of audit, SLA and KPI analysis.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to collaborate with across practice areas and stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities within tight deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive and autonomous in reporting procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of operational services across the Global Insurance Programme, ensuring activities are completed accurately and within agreed timescales.
  • Assist with the preparation, validation, and submission of client and internal reporting across multiple client accounts.
  • Support the management and maintenance of client data, ensuring information is accurate, complete, and aligned to reporting requirements.
  • Liaise with fee earners and other stakeholders to resolve data queries and support the completion of required information.
  • Assist in identifying data quality issues and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Assist in monitoring compliance with client service requirements and escalating issues where appropriate.
  • Support operational processes associated with billing and e-billing, working closely with Finance and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain and organise client contractual documentation and records in accordance with agreed processes and best practice.
  • Attend internal client meetings, documenting actions and supporting their timely completion.
  • Contribute to the delivery of continuous improvement initiatives across the Client Operations function.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of training and process documentation to support consistent ways of working.

Job Description | Client Operations Junior Executive Department: Global Client Operations Location: Manchester Role: Client Operations Junior Executive (12 month FTC)

The Role

The purpose of this role is to provide operational and administrative support to the Global Insurance Programme, working across practice areas, regions, and insurance lines to support the delivery of client services. The role holder will assist with a range of operational activities, including client reporting, data management, service monitoring, and administrative processes that support client accounts within the Key and Growth Account programmes. Working closely with Client Operations Managers, fee earners, Partners, and other Business Services teams, the post holder will contribute to the delivery of a consistent, high-quality service, helping to ensure that client requirements are met and operational processes are completed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Support & Reporting
  • Support the delivery of operational services across the Global Insurance Programme, ensuring activities are completed accurately and within agreed timescales.
  • Assist with the preparation, validation, and submission of client and internal reporting across multiple client accounts.
  • Support the management and maintenance of client data, ensuring information is accurate, complete, and aligned to reporting requirements.
  • Liaise with fee earners and other stakeholders to resolve data queries and support the completion of required information.
  • Assist in identifying data quality issues and opportunities for process improvement.
Client Service & Contractual Support
  • Support the delivery of client contractual requirements, including SLA and KPI monitoring, reporting, and associated administrative processes.
  • Assist in monitoring compliance with client service requirements and escalating issues where appropriate.
  • Support operational processes associated with billing and e-billing, working closely with Finance and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain and organise client contractual documentation and records in accordance with agreed processes and best practice.
Performance, Governance & Continuous Improvement
  • Assist with the preparation of management information, performance reports, and materials for client governance meetings.
  • Support investigations into client service performance, including the review of operational data and quality assurance findings.
  • Attend internal client meetings, documenting actions and supporting their timely completion.
  • Contribute to the delivery of continuous improvement initiatives across the Client Operations function.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of training and process documentation to support consistent ways of working.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Build positive working relationships with colleagues across Client Operations, fee earning teams, Finance, and other Business Services functions.
  • Support effective communication with stakeholders through meeting coordination, updates, and action tracking.
  • Respond to queries in a professional and timely manner, ensuring stakeholders are kept informed of progress and outcomes.
Experience and Skills Required
  • Experience of client data and its relevance to the insurance litigation process
  • Demonstrates attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent knowledge of insurance litigation processes
  • Experience within an insurance claims litigation environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of working with audit, SLA and KPI analysis
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly excel
  • Proven experience of collaborative working and an ability to forge relationships with key individuals across all of the different practice areas.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities within tight timescales.
  • Able to work to very tight deadlines under pressure and to assimilate information quickly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confident and proactive possessing the competence to deliver procedures and conduct reporting autonomously.
