Job summary

Workman LLP is seeking an Assistant Client Accountant to support a portfolio of client-owned properties with accurate financial reporting and compliance. You will collaborate with senior accountants, property managers and clients to maintain strong financial control and deliver timely accounting information across a diverse portfolio.

Qualifications

• ACCA or AAT level 4 is preferred.
• Experience in a finance or client accounting role, ideally within property or real estate.
• Competency in Excel and accounting systems; experience with property accounting systems is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and quarterly client reports, including VAT and IPD reporting.
• Manage cash and transfer funds in line with client requirements.
• Carry out bank reconciliations and monitor balances.
• Maintain lease information and respond to client queries.
• Prepare and transfer rental income to clients and update control spreadsheets.
• Assist with budgeting and variances for the Service Charge Accounting team.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and internal accounting standards.
