Workman is seeking an Assistant Client Accountant to join the finance team in the commercial property sector. You will support monthly reporting, cash management, reconciliations, lease information management, and client queries for a portfolio of client-owned properties.

The role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and good communication. ACCA or AAT Level 4 study encouraged. Hybrid working and study support are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance or client accounting, preferably in property or real estate.
• Studying ACCA or AAT Level 4 is preferred.
• Competency in Excel and accounting systems is essential.

Responsabilités

• Prepare monthly and quarterly client reports including VAT/IPD where applicable.
• Manage cash for client funds and ensure transfers meet client requirements.
• Carry out bank reconciliations and monitor balances.
• Maintain lease information and respond to client queries.
• Process rental income transfers and update control spreadsheets.
• Assist budgeting and review variances with the Service Charge Accounting team.
