Job summary

Vincera Consulting Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Junior Civil Engineering Technician to support Civil Engineers in delivering residential infrastructure drawings. You will use AutoCAD to produce construction drawings and detailing, under supervision.

This role is suitable for recent college leavers or graduates, with potential to progress within the design team as you develop knowledge and skills in planning, design and execution of projects.

Qualifications

• A Degree in Civil Engineering (or other relevant subject) is required OR
• HNC / HND in Civil Engineering
• AutoCAD proficiency and experience in producing civil drawings
• Communication skills are essential; teamwork and collaboration are important

Responsibilities

• Assist Civil Engineers in planning, design and execution of projects
• Produce detailed construction drawings and technical packages for roads, groundworks, drainage schemes, etc. using AutoCAD
• Support senior engineers and grow knowledge to progress within the design team
