Job summary

Herrco Cosmetics Limited is seeking a Development Chemist to join our expanding team in the cosmetics sector. You will collaborate with the Development Chemist to drive the NPD process from concept to launch, contributing to formulation development and testing with accuracy and creativity.

You will consolidate test results, monitor the development cycle, and support sample production, testing, and scale-up while applying commercial awareness to deliver innovative cosmetic products.

Qualifications

• Chemistry graduate or similar is desirable.
• Experience from internships/placements in a related lab environment desirable.
• Highly organised with the ability to multi-task.
• Excellent accuracy/attention to detail.
• Natural creativity and flare for product development and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Work with and aligned to a Development Chemist, taking part in the NPD process from concept through to launch.
• Consolidating test results and analysing findings.
• Supporting and monitoring the product development process including producing samples, sending customer samples, placing samples on testing, scale up of development.
• Investigating and solving stability and production issues.
