St Edwards Oxford is seeking a Junior Chef de Partie to join the catering team in a busy, high‑quality kitchen environment. Salary is £30,925.44 per annum. The role is permanent and full time.

You will work alongside experienced senior chefs to prepare and deliver meals for pupils, staff and visitors, support stock rotation, food safety and waste management, and may lead a shift when required. The department serves around 2,000 meals daily and supports events from balls to weddings.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume catering environments.
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver fresh, high-quality food for pupils, staff and visitors.
• Support stock rotation, hygiene and waste management.
• Assist with day-to-day kitchen operations and lead shifts when required.
