Mincka are looking for an inspired chef ready to take full ownership of our kitchen and be the creative force behind our coffee shop experience.

About us:

At Mincka we're passionate about creating a unique experience that perfectly compliments our speciality coffee. Our coffee is locally roasted in Sussex and we pride ourselves on supporting local producers: our ingredients are sourced from nearby farms and suppliers- with all meat provided by Woodhouse Butchery, all our bread and pastries are provided by the local team at Flourpot Bakery.

What You’ll Do:

• Creative Freedom: Develop, test and implement new recipes and menu ideas that sets us apart.
• Full Kitchen Ownership: Manage the daily operations of our kitchen with autonomy and responsibility- From planning and prepping to execution and quality control.
• Flexible Working: Enjoy the freedom to choose your own hours. Whether you're interested in a part-time role or a full-time commitment, you can tailor your schedule to suit your lifestyle.
• Culinary Experiment: Use your creativity and experiment with new ingredients and techniques, and introduce an innovative menu to elevate our food offerings.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 1 year previous experience.
• A creative thinker who is eager to experiment, develop new recipes, and isn't afraid to think outside the box.
• Strong organisational and kitchen management skills with a commitment to high standards of food quality and presentation.
• A genuine passion and an understanding of how local ingredients can elevate a coffee shop experience.
