SSE plc is hiring a Junior Category Manager to join the central Infrastructure & Equipment Category Management team. The role spans Inspection & Testing Services and Maintenance, Repair & Operations, developing category strategies and increasing spend under management.
You will engage with stakeholders and suppliers throughout the procurement lifecycle, drive value opportunities, and help deliver supplier contract performance and risk management.
Base Location: You'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in one of the following locations, Glasgow/Perth.
Salary: £44,000 - £65,900 + 10% performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

An exciting permanent opportunity has arisen for a Junior Category Manager to work within the central Infrastructure & Equipment Category Management team. Working principally across the categories of Inspection & Testing Services and Maintenance, Repair & Operations, this role will cover a variety of goods and service's. A fundamental aspect of this role is to contribute to the development and maturity of the category strategies, whilst ensuring that SSE group requirements are captured and fulfilled.
