Job summary

Miller Homes Ltd is seeking aTechnical Trainee to shadow the Technical Manager and assist the architectural team in delivering architectural design services for projects. You will prepare working drawings using CAD and may work toward a nationally recognised qualification.

Based in the South Midlands with a robust development programme and regular reviews, this role offers practical on-site exposure and career progression within the Early Careers - Technical department.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of the construction process and the provision of technical drawings that meet Building Regulations/NHBC standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to plan, organise and monitor progress.

Responsibilities

• Provide CAD drawings and details to production teams for on-site use.
• Provide drawings and details to support the sales team for brochures and site usage.
• Assist site managers by addressing development queries or seeking architectural support.
• Provide information to support procurement with drawings and details.
• Support discharge of planning conditions and track NHBC-related progress.
• Monitor NHBC condition status in relation to CMLs and report to the wider team.
