Commutable from Cambridge, Letchworth, Biggleswade, Buntingford, Sandy

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000

Working hours: Monday - Friday

Our client is a leading construction industry manufacturer that values a progressive mindset, ambition, and drive to be part of an expanding company. They have experienced incredible growth and are looking to continue their momentum with a Junior CAD Designer to join an established team and develop their career.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Create 2D drawings using AutoCAD for customer approval
• Create 3D models of entire structures
• Extract part files for manufacturing
• Create factory sketches to assist production
• Develop fitting instructions for assembly
• Complete design stages within 2-4 weeks, depending on the project
• Liaise with R&D and Sales teams
• Report to the Design lead on daily operations

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Experience in CAD 2D and 3D design
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment responding to orders
• Practical knowledge to support production teams
• Background in Civil, Mechanical Engineering, construction, or metals is desirable
