Job summary

Bennet & Game Recruitment Ltd. has a Design Engineer role in Basingstoke, offering £29,000–£30,000 with hybrid work and a permanent or six-month contract option.

The successful candidate will refresh and update 2D drawings, maintain BOMs, and support branding and documentation updates across engineering and other departments.

Graduate engineers are encouraged to apply; Solid Edge experience preferred, SolidWorks acceptable; on-site parking, pension, life insurance.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification (HNC/HND or degree) in Mechanical Engineering.
• CAD experience, preferably Solid Edge 2D.
• SolidWorks or other CAD experience acceptable.
• Clear understanding of engineering drawings.
• Graduate-friendly; valve industry experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Update and refresh existing 2D drawings.
• Amend drawings and BOMs using technical data.
• Review older drawings for accuracy.
• Support modernization of technical information for customers.
• Collaborate across engineering, marketing and other teams.
• Organise and maintain technical documentation.
