Job summary

Spectrum IT Recruitment is seeking a Junior C# .NET Developer to join a growing technology team building high-performance, real-time software systems. You will work with C#, .NET and SQL in a collaborative environment that values quality code and scalable solutions.

You'll gain exposure to the full software development lifecycle, learn from experienced developers, and contribute to maintaining robust, reliable systems while delivering features that meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Strong educational background - At least a 2:1 in STEM subject.
• Commercial experience developing with C#.
• Good understanding of .NET / .NET Core.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software development principles.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• A genuine interest in developing high-quality software.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a development team.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance and maintain applications using C# and .NET.
• Contribute to the development of high-performance and real-time software systems.
• Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code.
• Work alongside senior developers to investigate and resolve technical issues.
• Develop new features and functionality based on business and technical requirements.
• Work with databases and SQL to retrieve and manage application data.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and debugging.
• Help monitor and troubleshoot production systems.
• Collaborate with developers, testers and other technical teams.
• Learn and apply best practices around software development, performance and system reliability.
