Job summary

Spectrum IT Recruitment has an exciting Graduate Software Developer opening for a recent Computer Science graduate to join a high-performing team building cutting-edge trading and research systems.

You will design, develop, and maintain applications using C# and .NET, work with SQL databases, and contribute to system performance improvements while learning from senior developers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least a 2:1 BSc in Computer Science or related subject from a Russell Group University.
• Strong programming foundation, ideally with exposure to C# or .NET.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Familiarity with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, or similar).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and develop in a fast-paced technical setting.
• Knowledge of multi-threading or concurrent programming concepts.
• Basic understanding of networking (TCP/UDP).
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Exposure to Windows-based development environments.
• Interest in financial markets or trading systems.
