We are a collaborative team-working business, so these roles are all fully-office based at our Support Centre in Speke, Liverpool (L24).

As a Junior Buyer, you will have responsibilities that cross over with both Buyer and Assistant Buyer. In this role, you’ll be:

• Responsible for your own product ranges/subcategory
• Support, plan & prepare for product/range sign off
• Introduce new products, whilst identifying gaps in the market
• Build strong relationships with key internal & external suppliers

As a Buyer, you will take advanced ownership of the whole category and collaborate closely with the Senior Buyer, as well as coaching and mentoring Junior Buyer / Assistant Buyer / Buying Assistants. In this role, you will:

• Take accountability for planning/sourcing from UK & Far East suppliers (dependent on category)
• Work closely with Merchandisers, consistently reviewing customer market, competitor prices & performance
• Demonstrate excellence in negotiation, sharing good commercial & market awareness
