Job Outline:

The Junior Buyer is responsible for placing purchase orders with suppliers to fulfill customer orders and maintain stock levels on top-selling devices. Your role includes sourcing and negotiating the best market prices, ensuring timely delivery at optimal costs, and resolving order discrepancies promptly to meet customer delivery commitments while minimizing inventory costs.

What the role involves:

• Placing daily purchase orders using the Inventory Management System (IMS)
• Ensuring necessary paperwork and credit lines are in place for high-value or customer-specific products
• Reviewing and authorizing customer order changes and cancellations
• Managing supplier purchase orders and rescheduling or canceling as needed
• Resolving order price discrepancies with marketing and suppliers
• Addressing receiving discrepancies with the distribution center and product marketing
• Being the first point of contact for production line issues
• Collaborating with sales, marketing, and suppliers to reduce slow-moving inventory
