Job Outline:

The Junior Buyer is responsible for placing purchase orders with suppliers to fulfill customer orders and maintain stock levels of top-selling devices. This role involves sourcing and negotiating the best market prices, ensuring timely delivery at the right cost, and resolving order discrepancies promptly to meet delivery commitments while minimizing inventory costs.

What the role involves:

• Placing daily purchase orders using the Inventory Management System (IMS)
• Ensuring relevant paperwork and credit lines are in place for high-value or customer-specific products
• Reviewing and authorizing customer order changes and cancellations
• Managing supplier purchase orders, reschedules, and cancellations
• Resolving order price discrepancies with marketing and suppliers
• Addressing receiving discrepancies with the Distribution Centre and Product Marketing
• Being the first point of contact for production line down resolutions
• Working with sales, product marketing, and suppliers to reduce slow-moving inventory

Do you have:
