Job Outline:

The Junior Buyer is responsible for placing purchase orders with suppliers to fulfill customer orders and maintain stock levels of top-selling devices. The role involves sourcing and negotiating the best market prices, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery, and resolving discrepancies promptly to meet customer delivery commitments while minimizing inventory costs.

What the role involves:

• Placing daily purchase orders using the Inventory Management System (IMS)
• Ensuring paperwork and credit lines are in place for high-value or customer-specific products
• Reviewing and authorizing order changes and cancellations
• Managing supplier purchase orders, reschedules, or cancellations
• Resolving order price discrepancies
• Addressing receiving discrepancies with the Distribution Centre and Product Marketing
• Being the first point of contact for production line issues
• Collaborating with sales, marketing, and suppliers to reduce slow-moving inventory

Do you have:

• Experience in purchasing is preferable but not essential
