Job Outline:

The Junior Buyer is responsible for placing purchase orders with suppliers to fulfill customer orders and maintain stock levels of top-selling devices. Your role will involve sourcing and negotiating the best market prices, ensuring timely delivery at optimal costs, and resolving discrepancies promptly to meet delivery commitments while minimizing inventory costs.

What the role involves:

• Placing daily purchase orders via the Inventory Management System (IMS)
• Preparing necessary paperwork and credit lines for high-value or customer-specific products
• Managing customer order changes and cancellations
• Reviewing and adjusting supplier purchase orders as needed
• Resolving order price discrepancies
• Addressing receiving discrepancies with the Distribution Centre and Marketing
• Being the first point of contact for production line issues
• Collaborating with sales, marketing, and suppliers to reduce slow-moving inventory

Do you have:

• Previous purchasing experience (preferred but not essential)
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and proactive skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Ability to identify and improve flawed processes
• Resilience under pressure and meeting deadlines
• Flexibility and adaptability to different needs and situations
