Job Outline:

The Junior Buyer is responsible for placing purchase orders with suppliers to fulfill customer orders and maintain stock levels of top-selling devices. The role involves sourcing and negotiating the best market prices, ensuring timely delivery at the right cost, and resolving discrepancies quickly to meet delivery commitments while minimizing inventory costs.

What the role involves:

• Placing daily purchase orders using the Inventory Management System (IMS)
• Ensuring paperwork and credit lines are in place for high-value or customer-specific products
• Reviewing and authorizing order changes and cancellations
• Managing supplier purchase orders and rescheduling or canceling as needed
• Resolving order price discrepancies
• Addressing receiving discrepancies with the distribution center and marketing
• Being the first point of contact for production line issues
• Collaborating with sales, marketing, and suppliers to reduce slow-moving inventory

Do you have:

• Previous experience in purchasing (preferable but not essential)
• Strong organizational and proactive skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• An ability to identify and improve flawed processes
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Flexibility and adaptability to different needs and situations
