Job Outline:

The Junior Buyer is responsible for placing purchase orders with suppliers to fulfill customer orders and maintain stock levels of top-selling devices. The role involves sourcing and negotiating the best market prices, ensuring timely delivery at optimal costs, and resolving discrepancies swiftly to meet delivery commitments while minimizing inventory costs.

What the role involves:

• Placing daily purchase orders using the Inventory Management System (IMS)
• Ensuring paperwork and credit lines are in place for high-value or customer-specific products
• Reviewing and authorizing customer order changes and cancellations
• Managing supplier purchase orders and making necessary adjustments
• Resolving order price discrepancies with marketing and suppliers
• Handling receiving discrepancies with the distribution centre and product marketing
• Serving as the first point of contact for production line issues
• Collaborating with sales, marketing, and suppliers to reduce slow-moving inventory

Do you have:

• Previous purchasing experience (preferred but not essential)
