Description Job Title: Junior Business Analyst, Commercial
Reporting to: Business Director, Commercial/Senior Business Analyst
Hours: Monday to Friday, 10am – 6pm
Salary: £29,000 - 32,000
Responsible for commercial team analysis and reporting across sales and client data. This role will work closely with the finance, sales and secondary teams to produce detailed and accurate financial analysis to support team management and sales strategies. Applicants must have strong communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure with a high attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities Client allocation/ sales Strategy
• Systematically maintain a tracker of client submissions for high demand works under a best placement strategy, along with analysis on allocations per client/salesperson.
• Track revenue generation/success of client development opportunities.
• Collate holds and strategy submissions during peak selling moments.
Individual Team performance
• On a quarterly and monthly basis, review sales team individual performance of sales activity and revenue versus individual targets. Provide report to Sales Management.
• Support to Senior Analyst on End of Year analysis to support sales team management.
Client data and management
• Prepare / collate available data ahead of handover request review for departing sales execs.
• Carry out client analysis for new starters, prepare report for review by Business Director.
• Action handovers.
General
• Away day analysis support to Senior Analyst and Commercial team
• Ad hoc analysis for Business Director.
• Identify discrepancies in data and work with relevant departments to ensure data quality.
• Identify reporting issues and discrepancies to inform the development of a new CRM system.
• Maintain and distribute the release calendar with the releases and when works will be made available for all selling moments.
