The Role

Working as part of a friendly and experienced team, you will assist with the bookkeeping requirements for a varied portfolio of clients.

Duties will include:

• Processing bookkeeping records for a range of clients
• Preparing bank reconciliations
• Maintaining sales and purchase ledgers
• Assisting with VAT return preparation and submissions
• Supporting the preparation of management accounts
• Working with cloud-based accounting software such as Xero, Sage and QuickBooks
• Liaising with clients to obtain financial information and resolve queries
• Ensuring accurate and timely record keeping

The Ideal Candidate

To be considered for this role, you will have:

• Previous experience working within an accountancy practice
• Experience undertaking bookkeeping duties
