Job summary

Focus Resourcing is recruiting a Junior Biomedical Engineer to provide on-site medical equipment repairs, preventative maintenance and asset management within a busy hospital environment. You will work closely with customers and clinical teams to ensure high service levels and minimise disruption to hospital operations.

The role requires OEM training and an engineering/electronics/medical technologies qualification, with 1–3 years UK-based experience on medical equipment.

Qualifications

• Certified OEM training.
• Qualification in engineering, electronics or medical technologies.
• 1–3 years UK-based experience on medical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance on medical equipment in line with manufacturer guidelines.
• Complete repairs on a broad range of medical equipment.
• Schedule and complete workloads within the assigned area.
• Complete all administration and maintain accurate service documentation.
• Maintain tools, test equipment and spare parts in line with required standards.
