Job summary

hireful is seeking a Junior Plant Maintenance Engineer to join our anaerobic digestion operation in Rushden, Northamptonshire. You’ll help maintain plant and equipment, support planned maintenance and respond to breakdowns while developing your mechanical, electrical and controls engineering skills.

You’ll receive structured training with opportunities to progress technical qualifications and join the Duty Manager team, including remote monitoring. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Interest in mechanical, electrical or controls engineering.
• Practical, proactive and safety-conscious mindset.
• Full UK driving licence (required).

Responsibilities

• Maintain critical plant and equipment at the anaerobic digestion facility.
• Support planned preventive maintenance and respond to breakdowns.
• Assist in maximizing biogas production and power generation.
