Job summary

SoCode Limited in Cambridge is seeking a Junior Cloud Developer to join the R&D team. You will work with an experienced engineering group to build and improve cloud infrastructure, primarily Azure, and contribute to IaC and automation.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of commercial experience in Cloud, DevOps or Software Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Azure.
• Some experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• PowerShell or similar scripting experience.
• Understanding of Azure services across compute, storage, security and monitoring.
• Willingness to learn and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Working with an experienced engineering team to improve cloud infrastructure.
• Building and maintaining Azure-based solutions.
• Working with Infrastructure as Code and automation.
• Helping troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Contributing to infrastructure design and improvements.
• Working closely with developers and other technical teams.
